Considering its "roots in Oahu's history" and a "golden" location on the estate of Hawaii's last princess, steps from the "world-famous Waikiki beach" and "in the center of the action", it's too bad this hotel is "kind of dumpy" and the "outdated" rooms seem "stuck in the '80s"; still, the "top floors offer a view of the ocean", the staff is "friendly" and guests can eat in a "lovely" dining area or "wind down with a mai tai" watching "nightly entertainment."

Close to the beach.
Paid more for parking than for rental of car.
Rooms were out dated. Wall paper was peeling and it needed work in bathrooms. Parking was
way overpriced for being a guest.

The parking cost us $25/day - ridiculous!
Priceline should somehow mention the parking rates.
